Day 5 - Cann River to Eden, Friday 20 April 2007
On Friday we will leave Cann River and ride through the Alfred National Park, to Eden, stopping in Genoa to see the very pretty Genoa River.

The total distance will be approximately 113 Km, which is likely to take 5:12 hours of riding time. The hills are frequent and steep, and at one point have a disturbing gradient of 7% while the heights get close to 900 feet. Our riders will be very grateful for the little electric motors assisting these bicycles! The calculated time takes into account the reduced speed that the bikes will travel at going uphill.

We will be staying at the Great Southern Inn. Great being the opperative word. Lucky we booked our roomes in advance since during the after Easter period, the hotels are very busy. "Guests can also enjoy the convenience of an on site TAB, poker machines and a drive through bottle shop". Sorry guys, its only one night.
