Day 1 - Melbourne to Warragul, Monday 16 April 2007

Suitable Transport will be launched on Monday the 16th of April in Federation Square at midday with a live performance by Bomba of a song they’ve recorded specially to commemorate Steve’s journey for change. Film footage from Al Gore’s film “An Inconvenient Truth” will be aired on the big screen.

At 1PM, the riders will leave federation square, and travel via Melbourne's fabulous Yarra bike path to Warragul, home of numerous attractive gardens and parks.

We will be staying at the Edinburgh Motor Inn. All rooms are stylishly presented and include free cable TV, internet access in all suites and direct dial phones (yeah!). We can also make use of the swimming pool, conference room, restaurant and room service meals (ok - but you have to pay for that bit).
